Silver is our namesake for a reason — it is the most important metal in Mexican jewelry making! Silver has held a high place in Mexican culture for millennia and is still incredibly popular as a material for not only jewelry, but decorative home pieces, silverware, and much more.
Unless otherwise noted, Mexican Silver Store exclusively uses silver that is 92.5% pure, also known as sterling silver. This is the highest quality silver available. Don’t fall for other stores who use “sterling silver plating” on their jewelry and mark it as “sterling silver jewelry.” It is not the same high-quality jewelry you’ll get from our Mexican jewelry store!

How should my ring fit?
Each and every ring we offer will require a slightly different fit. Additionally, every person will feel comfortable with different levels of tightness.
Some of our rings are adjustable, and can be customized to your exact fit when you receive your ring in the mail. Other rings come in different sizes, which will be similar to other size rings you have at home.
In general, a well-fitting ring should slide over your knuckle without too much effort, but should still fit snugly on your finger without too much tightness. Keep in mind, each one of your fingers will likely require different ring sizes.
What should I look for when buying a ring?
Everyone looks for different things in their jewelry. For some, it’s sentimental value and a deeper meaning. For others, it is a strikingly beautiful design. Fortunately, we offer a massive selection of rings with different styles and materials.

How should I clean and take care of my ring?
All rings and jewelry we sell are intended to be durable and long lasting, without requiring constant maintenance.
Still, it’s good to occasionally clean your ring to keep it in tip-top shape. We recommend the use of a simple microfiber cloth to clean your ring. For silver rings, gently rub the cloth against the grain. Please avoid jewelry cleaners, as many are not safe for all materials and can often do more harm than good.
Additionally, we recommend that you keep your ring in a felt-lined jewelry box or other protective case. In all cases, try to keep them out of direct sunlight or excessive heat when not worn.
